Laros Foundation says goodbye to long time Silk Mill employee Marge Tarola

Marge Tarola, 1928-2020, worked for the Laros Silk Mill on Broad Street in Bethlehem for 20 years. Marge participated last year in the Foundation’s oral history project in partnership with the Industrial Archives. Her stories were full of rich details and vivid memories. Marge’s interview will be preserved in perpetuity at the IAL. Marge was full of life and joy and we are very grateful we had a chance to meet; to hear her stories, to share in her joie de vivre and the bounty of her life’s wisdom. Marge will be very missed by many. Her like will not soon pass this way again.
