R.K.Laros Trustees Diane Donaher and Elizabeth Shimer Bowers attended the Bethlehem Public Library unveiling of the commissioned portrait of local poet, novelist and memoirist Hilda Doolittle, who published under the name “HD”. HD’s home once stood on the site of the current Bethlehem City Hall, neighboring BAPL. She is renowned for her writing including the memoir The Gift. The portrait was painted by Moravian College Professor and Artist Angeles Fraleigh. The R.K.Laros Foundation is proud to have been a supporter of this inspired initiative.
